Larry works with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, families and groups. He specializes in working with children, families, people of color, and the GLBTIQ2-S populations.
Larry’s therapeutic approaches are Critical Race Theory, Cognitive Behavioral, Reality Therapy, Multi-culturalism, and REBT.
Larry is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with over twenty-five years of experience in the area of mental health policy and advocacy at the government level, as well as seventeen years in a independent office practice. He is an international presenter on culturally competent practices, and an emerging researcher on evidence-based practices for disadvantaged and historically oppressed communities. Larry has served on SAMHSA national task forces for the development of resources for communities of color and GLBTIQ2-S populations, both youth and families
